The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem. A case was booked under relevant Section and an investigation was started.

The police have also arrested the driver, Rasool Raja, 42 and son of Noor Muhammed of Kovilpatti, of the cement-laden lorry that caused the accident.
Hyderabad: A 56-year-old development officer of United India Insurance company died in an elevator mishap on Tuesday under Narayanguda Police station limits.
The deceased was identified as Anand Rao, resident of Sanathnagar. “His office was in the third floor in the AITUC building in Himayat Nagar. On Tuesday, while he was leaving the office, he opened the lift door which had manual operating system while it was still on the floor above and stepped in assuming that it arrived on his floor and fell to death,” said the Sub Inspector of Naraya-nguda, K. Saidulu.
