Hyderabad: Health minister Dr C. Laxma Reddy on Monday inspected the Osmania General Hospital, where a section of the false ceiling had collapsed in the operation theatre during the incessant rains last week.
Dr Reddy has asked the staff to be alert and shift the patients to other government hospitals if required. He said work on the new building would be taken up soon and 2,118 vacancies would be filled up. He asked doctors manning the out-patient department and the emergency wing to attend to patients promptly.
