Chandrayaan-3 mission is symbol of new India's spirit, says Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Chandrayaan's success saying symbolised New India's resilience and commitment. He highlighted its role in promoting women's empowerment. In his monthly 'Mann Ki Baat,' radio broadcast, he discussed the G20 leaders' summit, highlighting India's presidency as a people-centric presidency to make the group more inclusive.

Modi stressed that discussing Chandrayaan's moon landing success would be insufficient, considering it has been more than three days since the achievement. He recited lines from an old poem he had written. He mentioned his emphasis on women-led development during his August 15 address.

He assured that India is fully prepared for the upcoming G20 Leaders Summit in September noting that it will showcase India's potential.

He shared that about 200 meetings related to the G20 were organised across 60 cities in India since taking over the G20 presidency.

Modi also noted two world records were achieved during this effort of public participation, including a quiz involving 1.25 lakh students from 800 schools and an impressive collection of around 1,800 'Unique Patches' created by Lambani artisans.
