Vijayawada: Minister for housing Ch. Ranganadha Raju has asked the department officials to complete the state government’s prestigious housing scheme Pedalandariki Illu.
Addressing a high-level review meeting with housing department officials here on Thursday, the minister said that this scheme will boost the financial status of beneficiaries and would create assets in a big way.
Raju urged them to ground first phase houses by next month end. He instructed that district officers should visit layouts and motivate the beneficiaries to complete houses. He told them to concentrate on providing water and electricity facilities. He stated that the new Jagananna colonies would turn into Model villages in the coming days.
Chief secretary Adityanadh Das appealed to the joint collectors Housing to take the challenges to complete the prestigious housing Scheme in the State. Ajay Jain, special chief secretary and other officials participated in the review meeting.
