Hyderabad: An 18 year old girl committed suicide unable to bear the academic burden at Narayana college campus on Saturday evening under Madhapur Police station limits.
The girl, Y. Aruna, 18, daughter of Rajanna, a farmer, had completed her intermediate and was taking long term coaching for her further studies in Narayana coaching center. “After completion of her intermediate course, she has opted for a long term course and has enrolled herself for the same in Narayana coaching center. Unable to learn the syllabus and fed up with the repeated attempts to do so, she decided to take the extreme step and hung herself with a shawl in her room campus room on Saturday evening” said the Investigating Officer, Sub Inspector Venkat Reddy of Madhapur Police.
Her friends and the management brought down the body and rushed her to Maxcure Hospital where the doctor declared her brought dead. Her body was later shifted to Osmania Hospital morgue for post mortem examination.
