Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Schools Parents Association (HSPA) has recorded a video song featuring its members and other volunteers with the tagline, “KCR, why do you not care about education? (KCR Padhai ki Tumku Phikarich Nai Kya)”.
The song was recorded with a cut out of KCR and HSPA members crowded around it singing their woes about the school fee hike.
Ashish Naredi, a member says, “We hope that this video will go viral and reaches the CM. After a few edits we will be releasing it on our website and on social media.” The song which is almost two minutes long has lyrics in Hyderabadi Hindi.
HSPA members claim that all their requests have been falling on deaf ears and the inaction of the government has led to this innovative way to wake up the government.
Around 25 HSPA members gathered at Ambience Fort, Attapur to record the song.
