Thiruvananthapuram: After the second round of allotment, 604 self-financing and 74 government medical college seats remained vacant and based on the options submitted on Friday and Saturday through the www.cee.kerala.gov.in the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) will make fresh allotments.
Of the 1,063 seats available for MBBS in nine government colleges, only 989 students had taken admission within the stipulated time, leaving 74 seats vacant. However, there were no vacancies at Kozhikode, Kottayam and Thiruvananthapuram.
Of the 1250 seats in the 11 self-financing colleges, only 798 were allotted in the second round and only 604 remitted fee.
The total vacancies left are 646 including 452 un-allotted seats.
