Hyderabad: A Bajrang Dal activist lodged a complaint against MIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi for allegedly making derogatory statements on Hindus and the RSS at public meeting in Karimnagar on July 23.
Bajrang Dal leader S. Kailash said claimed that Mr Owaisi “once again repeated his anti-national ‘15 minutes’ statement because of which he was jailed earlier. Akbaruddin Owaisi has always been trying to instigate the Muslim community against the Hindus. TRS government is supporting the Owaisi brothers and his party members.”
Sultan Bazaar circle inspector K. Subbarami Reddy said a complaint had been received with regard to the speech. Action will be taken if he is proved guilty, the inspector said.
