Kozhikhode: An awareness programme on the ill-effects of drugs was organized at KMCT Dental College, Mukkam on the World Anti-Drug Day on Wednesday. Thamarassery DySP Abdul Khader inaugurated the programme. The programme was organised with the assistance of NSS unit at dental college.
In his address Mr Khader explained how various drugs affect the human body and about drug addiction among children. He also narrated the various ways of abuse with varied substances and the legal measures to be taken against the trend. The easiest way to reduce the drug abuse is to ensure close care for your wards at home, he said. Dental College principal KP Manoj Kumar presided over the function.
