Hyderabad: The body of a female baby was found near beside drainage near Vikarabad railway station on Sunday. Police have sent the body to postmortem examination at the government hospital and booked a case for the probe.
The body of the baby was found near the drainage located close to a Mallkijrjuna hotel. The hotel owner, Prabhakar, saw the body and alerted the police, who rushed to the spot and recovered it. After the autopsy, it was found that the baby was a female and suffered an Intrauterine fetal demise.
The police have registered a case and are trying to identify the mother of the child.
