Chennai: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is striving to safeguard India from destructive elements; and its members have been serving as cultural and patriotic messengers of the country, Swami Vimurtanand of Sri Ramakrishna Mutt has said.
Averring that like the Indian Army, Air Force and Navy, guarding the country, the ABVP members protected India’s cultural heritage. “ABVP karyakartas are cultural and patriotic messengers of the country. Their work in college campuses across India will have an important, positive effect on the youth of this country,” he said while addressing a huge gathering of the ABVP’s National Executive Council, underway here on Sunday evening.
