Kerala: Schools score big in CBSE XII exams

Most institutions secure cent percent results; many have all students securing distinctions.

KOCHI: Most of the CBSE schools in Central Kerala region comprising Ernakulam, Alappuzha, Idukki, Kottayam and Thrissur districts returned with cent percent results in the CBSE Class XII Board exams, the results of which were declared on Saturday. They include Greets Public School which had 25 distinction, 19 first class out of 46 students appeared. Rinu Aby is the school topper in science stream with 92.4 percent and Harshitha in commerce with 93.4 percent. At Global Public School, Thiruvaniyoor, out of 101 passed, 78 got distinction. Nimisha Maria Cletus got 98.4 percent in science stream to be topper while Arjun S topped commerce with 96.2 percent and Merly Maria Jomy topped humanities with 98 percent. Out of the 67 students who passed at Sree Narayana Vidyapeetom, Tripunithura, 24 got distinction and 34 got first class. At Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kannamaly, out of the total 44 students passed, all got first class. Breethesh S got A1 in all subjects. At SBOA Public Senior Secondary School, South Chittoor, out of the 95 students passed, 54 got distinction while 36 got first class. Rose Mary Martin topped the commerce stream with 480 marks while Aparna D topped science stream with 472 marks. Apart from them, Pragya Bothra and Paul Joy also secured A1 in all subjects.

At the Warwin School, Vaikom, all students passed with two (Haritha and Athira) receiving A1 in all subjects. Jyothi Nivas Public School, Aluva, also returned cent percent results. Nava Nirman Public School, Vazhakkala, maintained its 100 percent pass with 34 out of 45 students securing distinction while 11 secured first class. Gautham Krishna is the topper in commerce with 95.4 percent while Angel Elizabeth Berly secured 92.2 percent to top science stream. One student secured 100 percent in geospatial technology. At Al Ameen Public School, Edappally, 6 students out of 138 passed got A1 in all subjects. There are 89 distinctions and 43 first class at the school. Sreelakshmy Jayan (97.6 %), Nikitha Damiyan (96%), Ameena Sherin P and A Aisha (95.4%) are the overall toppers at the school. Hiba and Rusfida Mohammed have also got A1 in all subjects. For the 12th year in a row, St Philomena's Public School and Junior College, Elanji, secured 100 percent. All 55 students got distinction while four got A1 in all subjects. Antony James (97 percent-commerce) and Ashiq Biju (97%-science) were the toppers. At the Choice School, Tripunithura, out of all 178 students passed, 158 got distinction while there were 17 A1 in all subjects. Shravya Ann George and Aaron Antonio topped science with 97.4% while Naina Mary Pottamkulam and Parvathy Suresh topped commerce with 96.8 % and Ayesha Elizabeth John topped humanities with 98.4 percent.

At the Delta Study, Fort Kochi, all 54 passed while three got A1 in all subjects. There were 41 distinctions and 13 got first class. Sreenidhi Shenoy is the commerce stream topper with 97 percent while R M Shaizal topped science with 95.2 percent. At Saraswathi Vidyanikethan Public School, Elamakkara, all 283 students passed with 43 getting A1 in all subjects. Meenakshi C S is the topper at the school with 98.4 percent marks in science stream. There are 231 distinctions and 49 first classes at the school. Topper in commerce is Krishna Kunwar (96.4%) and topper in humanities is Sneha N Nair (96.4%). Sree Sankara Vidyalayam Senior Secondary School, Vaikom, also secured cent percent. At De Paul Public School, Nazareth Hill, Kottayam, all 99 students passed with two securing A1 in all subjects while 65 students secured distinction. The toppers are Meghana Johny (97%-Science) and Cere Baby (94%-Commerce). At Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala, 110 students secured distinction while 24 secured first class. Nayana Nair and Alphonsa Mary Mathew with 97.6 percent topped science while Aranza Christopher and T J Joel topped commerce with 96.4 % marks.

At Rajagiri Christu Jayanti Public School, Kakkanad out of all 208 students passed, 195 got distinction while 13 got first class. There are 46 A1 in all subjects. Cherene Aniyan Puthethu topped humanities with 98 percent while Muskaan V Musthafa got 96.6% to top commerce and Leah Liz Paul, Sooryadas Sudhakaran, Albert Thomas Manyani and P B Ragul Rajuram topped science with 96.6%. At Toc H School Vyttila, all 137 students passed, with 107 getting distinction and 25 getting first class. Ashna (98.6%) topped commerce while Ann Vithayathil and Maria Paul T topped science with 97 percent marks. A total of 22 students got A1 in all subjects. At Campion School, Edappally, all 82 students passed with 34 distinctions and 43 first class. Annu Jolly topped science with 95.6 percent and Swathi Sarath in Commerce with 96.8 percent. Three students got A1 in all subjects. At Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tripunithura, all 115 students passed with 90 getting distinction and 25 getting first class. The science topper is Aparna Venkittan (486) and commerce topper is Arvind R Menon (489).
