Hyderabad: The CBSE counselling helpline will be open for a week to ensure that students can call in and speak of their concerns.
The step has been undertaken to ensure that no drastic steps are taken by students. The post-result counselling session will be conducted through this helpline which can be used as parents as well.
The move has been appreciated by parents and teachers who stated that the helpline was put to use before the exams as well.
Sixty-nine experts have volunteered for the helpline and the toll free number is 1800-118-004 which is available from 8 am to 10 pm throughout the week,.
Educational expert N. Narayana said, “It is important that even parents make use of the helpline as students shouldn’t feel pressurised and they shouldn’t be compared with their peers. No exam is the end of life and students should realise the same.”
