Hyderabad: Boating in Indira Park will resume soon with the GHMC desilting the water at a cost of Rs 37 lakh. Hyderabad mayor Bonthu Rammohan, who launched the work on Thursday, said that GHMC officials would beautify the boating point.
The mayor, who had earlier visited the garbage transfer station, observed that the nala that supplies water to Indira Park and Osmania University Park had become a dumping point for garbage.
He instructed officials to clean the nala. He directed engineering wing officials to give a separate line to provide water from the Domalguda nala, which supplies water to the Public Garden.
