Nagpur: With temperature soaring high, plying on road has become near to impossible. Nagpur in an attempt to beat the heat has taken up a smart initiative. The city authorities have set up tarpaulin covers over traffic signals.
The temperature in Nagpur has been as high as 44 degree Celsius throughout the month of April.
Reeling under the heat, a large number of people have either succumbed to the scorching sun or have fallen sick in the parched areas. The orange city's smart initiative might render some respite to commuters using two-wheelers.
