BJP vows High Court in Rayalaseema, probe on Telugu Desam

The BJP has also promised to establish a permanent High Court in Rayalaseema. The manifesto also promises to create 25 districts from the present 13, for administrative convenience and decentralisation of power.

Speedy completion of Polavaram project and other irrigation projects, and a clean-up of the Godavari and Krishna rivers are other items in the manifesto.

The BJP’s state manifesto is also loaded with freebies such as free laptops to degree and PG students, and a 90 per cent subsidy for two-wheelers for girl students studying in degree classes.

The new capital city Amaravati will be developed with all facilities and other important principal cities in the state will also be facilitated, the BJP manifesto says.
