6 gm cocaine seized from Nigerian national in Hyderabad

Nigerian revealed that he had come to Hyderabad to deliver the cocaine to the customers, as ordered by his boss.

Hyderabad: A Nigerian national who came to the city from Mumbai to supply drugs was held hardly 100 metres away from the State police headquarters at Lakdikapul, by the sleuths of the Excise enforcement department on Tuesday.

The officials of the Excise enforcement, who were on patrol duty, got information that a person was standing near Lakdikapul and was in possession of drugs and was waiting to deliver them to his customers. A team immediately rushed to the spot and apprehended one Suleman Ibrahim Hassan (27) and seized six gm of cocaine from him. On questioning, Suleman revealed that he had come to Hyderabad to deliver the cocaine to the customers, as ordered by his boss.

The Excise officials said, “Suleman was res-iding at Mira Road in Mumbai and hails from Yakasai (YKS) in Kano state of Nigeria Country. His boss, SK alias Chuks, who also lives in Mum-bai, is into drug peddling. Chuks sends his agents to Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru to handover drugs to his customers and Suleman was sent as part of that.”

The accused along with the seized contraband has been handed over at Prohibition and Excise station, Nampally, for further action, said the officials.
