Vijayawada: CM N. Chandrababu Naidu has taken a crucial decision of organising “All Associations” meeting. The All Associations, include political parties and civic societies, which are fighting for special status for the state. The meeting is scheduled for 11 am on Tuesday. Mr Naidu called for two representatives from each party and association to attend this meeting. The political dynamics in the state changed again with YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy directing his MPs to resign for their positions. Mr Naidu, not to let YSRC to take the advantage, had taken another key step of organising All Associations meeting.
Unlike other decisions, Mr Naidu had taken this decision spontaneously and accordingly, started exercising and scheduled the meeting for Tuesday. TD is determined not to let the fight for the SCS go into the hands of others. In fact, YSRC is fighting for the SCS since the bifurcation but TD which accepted special assistance measure had recently taken the U-turn and has been acting aggressively not to give the credit to YSRC and others. Earlier, though there is a demand from all political parties for all-party delegation, TD hadn’t accepted it as it had accepted Special Assistance Measure.
Later, the TD changed its stance with the bandh organised for SCS becoming successful as the Union Budget hadn’t mentioned anything about funds to AP. TD then itself had announced of organising this meet to discuss on SCS, including civic societies, along with political parties that are fighting for SCS. TD in view of its political benefits is intending to lead the SCS movement and is even also willing to take the delegation to Delhi. According to sources TD along with delegation is sketching to meet with the prime minister if appointment given or else will meet with the president of India and protests in Delhi if required.
For Tuesday’s All Associations, meeting TD is planning to invite even the opposition YSRC. On the other side every one curious on how this all associations meeting will become successful when YSRC, Jana Sena and other are trying to denounce TD.
