Delhi Police probing 'death threat' mail to Arvind Kejriwal

The mail was sent to Kejriwal's official e-mail address on February 15.

New Delhi: Delhi Police is probing a "threat" mail received on Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's official e-mail address, with regard to which a complaint was lodged at central Delhi's IP Estate police station.

According to the complaint, a mail was received in the chief minister's official e-mail address on February 15 in reference to a comment posted on a YouTube video earlier.

The "self-explanatory" contents of the e-mail, sent by an account named after one Gaurav Kumar, posed "death threat" to the CM, the complaint read.

The complaint was lodged on February 15, following which a non-cognizant report was registered at central Delhi's IP Estate police station, which has Delhi Secretariat under its jurisdiction, police said.

"We are looking into the matter," a senior police official said.
