VIJAYAWADA: Extending his congratulatory greetings to music director Ilaiyaraaja and ace badminton player Srikanth Kidambi upon receiving Padma awards, Jana Sena chief Mr Pawan Kalyan requested the Centre and both the Telugu states of Telangana and AP to recommend Padma awards for Savitri and SVR. He also said it would have been nicer if the states had bagged a few more Padma awards.
Mr Pawan Kalyan was addressing the gathering after hoisting the National Flag at his party office in Hyderabad on Friday celebrating India’s 69th Republic Day. He reminded everyone about the sacrifices of the jawans for the country and urged people not to forget the integrity of the country or its reputation no matter which part of the world they were residing.
Mr Pawan Kalyan had announced his full-time entry into politics and accordingly he toured Telangana for three days recently.
