AP: Need to enhance revenue in service sector, says CMO special chief secretary

Vijayawada: CMO special chief secretary Satish Chandra said that after the state attained growth rate in agriculture sector, it now needs to focus on service sector which will influence the GDP growth rate. He said necessary measures should be taken to increase growth rate in the service sector.

Mr Satish Chandra hoisted the National Flag at the Secretariat on Friday and received salute from the police forces.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Mr Satish Chandra said the state is overcoming the issues raised with bifurcation and said that Telangana is strong financially as its revenue is more from service sector in Hyderabad city. He expressed the hope that the proposed Internatio-nal city Amaravati will bring more revenue to the state.
