BC patil: Siddu did not help me get a berth
Cabinet aspirant and Congress MLA Mr B.C. Patil said that there is unhappiness among a few leaders in the party including himself over being denied a berth but added that there is no commotion within the Congress related to cabinet expansion.
Speaking to media persons during his visit to Suttur Matha in Mysuru to invite Suttur seer, Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamy for his daughter's wedding, here on Tuesday, Mr Patil said, "Yes it is a huge injustice to me, Mr Ramalinga Reddy, Mr Shamanur Shivashankarappa and others. There has been a lot of injustice to leaders of the Lingayat community. In fact I had exposed the attempt of BJP State President Mr B.S. Yeddyurappa to me in which he had invited me to the BJP. For that I should have been rewarded but unfortunately, I was punished," he said.
He added, "I had trusted Siddaramaiah (former CM) but he has abandoned me. But I would like to make it clear tht I am neither in touch with the Jarkiholi brothers nor with the BJP."
