CBSE seeks teachers for board exams
Hyderabad: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has sets January 5 as the deadline for its affiliated schools to update their database with information about the teachers working in each school.
A circular was released earlier this week stating that experienced and trained teachers are required to complete the evaluation process for the upcoming board exams.
The notice from the CBSE stated, “It has been observed that schools are not cooperating with the board in nominating or deputing experienced teachers for the full duration of evaluation.”
Schools across the city have been asked to ensure that all teachers undergo prerequisite training for evaluation as mandated by CBSE and that the school should provide at least one examiner in each subject according to the number of students for the upcoming exams or else it will lead to disaffiliation of the school.
The circular also pointed out an affiliation bye-law that states, “The building and furniture of affiliated institutions shall be placed at the disposal of the board for conducting any examination and spot evaluation free of charge. The management and principal shall cooperate for the conduct of the examination and the evaluation.”
