Bengaluru: Three robbers attacked a 55-year-old man and forced him to sign on blank sheets of paper near Rajanukunte Cross in Chikkajala police limits on Sunday night.

The victim, Vijay Kumar, is a resident of Rajanukunte. According to the police, Vijay was returning home on his bike around 7.30 pm when a car intercepted his vehicle and three men came out and attacked him. They covered his mouth, held his neck and forced him to sign on blank sheets of paper. They later tied his hands, stabbed his hand with a knife and escaped with Rs 10,000 and his mobile phone.

The police said that the victim suspects the involvement of his family members and relatives as there was a fight over division of property a few days ago. He feels that someone from his family might have plotted the attack and made it look like a robbery, the police said.
