Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education begins help desk for students, staff
Hyderabad: The TS Board of Intermediate Education has begun help desk services. The help desk can handle up to 32 calls simultaneously. At present, the TSBIE offers facilities to students such as payment of fees and other online services. It also offers online affiliations, camp management and others for 10 lakh students, 25,000 lecturers, 3,000 colleges and staff, under the Board.
Officials say that the rising number of queries and complaints regarding the services was a key reason to set up the helpline. The services of the help desk can be availed from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. Students can call 040-24600110 or send an email to helpdesk-ie@telangana.gov.in.
A TSBIE official said, “All callers will receive a ticket number via SMS, which will help the complainant as well as the officer dealing with the complaint. In addition, this will also help the Board to keep a track of the number of complaints received and their nature. Once the complaint is resolved, the complainant will receive an SMS for the same.”
