Hyderabad: The November 30 deadline for the closure of Gough road has been put off. The order was conveyed by Defence minister Manohar Parrikar.
On Friday, Malkajgiri MP Mr Ch. Malla Reddy met the Defence minister seeking an extension to the November 30 deadline. In response to the request, Mr Parrikar assured that the roads will not be closed until there was a plan for alternative roads. But the minister has not given a dateline for the extension.
