Tamil Nadu: VCK should be sent packing home, say Raja and Tamilisai

Dr Tamilisai urged the people to teach the VCK a lesson by banishing them from the political scape.

Chennai: Close on the heels of party president Dr Tamilsai Soundararajan who had criticised VCK, BJP national secretary H. Raja accusing that party of conducting kangaroo courts and indulging in violence, said the VCK should be sent packing home.

Taking strong exception to the “behaviour” of a group of VCK members who had attacked the BJP members at Karur on Tuesday, Raja said “this only proved their true identify of holding kangaroo courts and indulging in violence.”

Denying that the BJP had any role in income tax search at the production house of Tamil actor Vishal on Monday afternoon, a day after the actor accused Raja of promoting piracy by watching the Diwali-released Vijay-starrer Mersal online, Raja said “those who err should face the consequences.”The search was over the TDS discrepancy of Rs 51 lakh, as per media reports.

Raja however did not elaborate. His meeting with Governor Banwarilal Prohit was a mere courtesy call, he said emerging out of the Raj Bhavan here on Wednesday. He however thanked his party leaders for resolving the Mersal issue. Meanwhile, BJP state president Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan who proceeded to the national capital to attend the first board meeting of the petroleum department, expressed that VCK had stooped down to a political low culture resorting to heaping filthy words on her over phone.

“They continuously used abusive words and filthy language over phone.. if they have any dispute, they can always counter it through argument, but if this is their modus operandi, then my BJP cadres will reply.” Calling an end to such “uncivilised culture” Dr Tamilisai urged the people to teach the VCK a lesson by banishing them from the political scape.
