Congress seeks action in Hazipur murders

Mr Hanumantha Rao said that even after six months, the state govt did not take any action on the incident in Hazipur where three girls were murdered.

Hyderabad: AICC Secretary and former MP V. Hanumantha Rao on Wednesday said that the atrocities on women are increasing day by day in the state and all victims are belonging to BC community.

Mr Hanumantha Rao asked why the TRS leaders from BC communities were not reacting on this even after Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao gave them important positions.

Mr Hnumantha Rao said that even after six months, the state government did not take any action on the incident in Hazipur where three girls were murdered.

He questioned the use of constituting the fast-track court to deal with the incident and the delay in giving compensation to the families of the victims.

Mr Hnumantha Rao also said that in the Hyderabad Cricket Association elections, the Congress would support former Indian cricket captain Azaharuddin.
