Hyderabad: L&THMRL has saved 500 million litres of water by avoiding conventional curing for activity and shifting about six kms of water and drainage pipelines for the current corridor, Project Director of L&T Metro M.P. Naidu said.
“L&T believes in bringing the latest technology to work and we used the precast method of construction. We worked at least 10-15 times for fixing the alignment to ensure that the minimum numbers of properties are acquired for the Begumpet station. There are around 2,800 piers and every pier has a story to tell,” he told this newspaper.
