Hyderabad: Senior Congress leaders have slammed caretaker IT minister K.T. Rama Rao for his recent comments regarding the Grand Alliance.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, TPCC general secretary, Sravan Dasoju said, “We condemn the comments of Mr Rama Rao. The TRS has been alleging that the Congress is joining hands with anti-Telangana leaders like AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. Didn’t the TRS leaders remember this while inviting Chandrababu Naidu to the Chandi Yagam visited his house in Amaravati? The TRS has become aware of this only after the TD joined hands with the Congress,” he said.
“Is Mr Rao ready for an open debate on the poll promises that he failed to fulfil? He is a political sadist. The KCR family does not have any right to speak for the people of Telangana, who sacrificed their lives during the movement. It is Mr Rao, who encouraged the suicides of students for Telangana,” he said.
