Hyderabad: Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan on Monday visited a few villages in Mahbubnagar and Medak districts and sought the farmers’ support for the ongoing land records purification programme.
Interacting with farmers at Nagasala in Mahbubnagar district, he said the government’s intention was to digitise and upload the information to bring in transparency.
He told farmers and other land owners not to worry as all data would be put up for public scrutiny in the grama sabha. He patted the government for the innovative step in cleansing the land records.
