Hyderabad: A six-year-old girl from Ram Nagar near Musheerabad died of dengue on Sunday in the city.
She was suffering from fever for the last three days and was admitted to a local hospital. Blood samples were taken for testing. On Saturday dengue was confirmed and her family shifted her to Rainbow Hospital at Jubilee Hills. She died on Sunday morning.
This is the fifth death due to dengue in Hyderabad district. Telangana state has recorded a total of 13 deaths from the disease till date. Authorities are actively trying to contain the disease.
