Accident victim in Howra lies on road for 4 hours, dies

Dhiren Nayak was hit by a truck and lay on the road bleeding for about four hours as no one came to his rescue on Thursday, police said.

Howrah: A 55-year-old man, who lay on the road unattended for about four hours after being hit by a truck in Malipara area in this district, died in a Kolkata hospital on Friday.
Dhiren Nayak was hit by a truck and lay on the road bleeding for about four hours as no one came to his rescue on Thursday, police said.
Police later took him to a nearby hospital and from there he was shifted to a Kolkata hospital where he died this morning.
