Vijayawada: A man was found dead in Bandar canal reportedly after falling off from a moving train on Sunday evening.
He was later identified as Velpula Moshe, 35, a native of Jayanti village in Veerullapadu mandal of Krishna district. The police suspect that he might have slipped and fell from a train while the train was crossing the bridge on Bandar Canal.
Moshe was partially handicapped as his right hand was not fully functional. They also suspect that he might have been drunk at the time of the accident and tried to get down from the train while it was moving and eventually got hit to a pole receiving severe head injury. He left his family and used to beg on the trains. Krishnalanka police recovered the body.
