Ramireddy said that he was managing the land alone as his son Mallareddy was studying. Later, he started searching for a job.

Hyderabad: Landowner Ramireddy managed the land and the polyhouse in it till he had a paralytic stroke a few years ago. With no one to look after his businesses his son Mallareddy who had completed engineering took over.

Meanwhile, Cyberabad police who registered a case under Section 336 of IPC (Act endangering the life or safety of others), has altered it to Section 304A (Death through negligence).

Ramireddy said that he was managing the land alone as his son Mallareddy was studying. Later, he started searching for a job.

“Mallareddy was managing it well. But this borewell came as a misfortune. It took the life of an innocent child who was playing with us and was like a member of our family,” Ramireddy said. His wife said that though it was a big error her son did not do it intentionally.

“We saw the girl on Thursday evening playing while her father went to milk the cows. We too miss the girl,” she said.
