Tirupati: The verification of all the jewels in local temples in the TTD jurisdiction should be completed by May 31, said TTD Tirupati JEO B. Lakshmi Kantham to the officials concerned at a review meeting held in Tirupati on Saturday.
The JEO directed the deputy executive officers of all the local temples, including Tiruchanoor, Srinivasa Mangapuram, Karvetinagaram, Narayanavanam, to complete the verification and list out all the jewels before the end of this month.
Later, he instructed the engineering officials to paint white coolant on the streets at Tiruchanoor on a regular basis as the heat wave is causing a lot of inconvenience to the pilgrims walking barefoot to the temple.
On Srivari Seva accommodation in Tirupati, he directed the engineering officials to shift them back to Vishnu Nivasam from the present II-NC Choultry.
