Kozhikode: KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran said on Saturday that the LDF government headed by chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan had proved a disaster like a deluge that devastated the state last year.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, he said that the results of Lok Sabha election substantiate it. “The catastr-ophic defeat of CPM is a fitting answer from people to the arrogance of chief minister”, he said.
Even in the constituency of Chief Minister Pin-arayi Vijayan in Kannur, the LDF candidate PK Sreemathy failed to ensu-re a substantial lead, he said. Through the election, people have asked him to quit, and it's a golden chance for him to do so as people voted agai-nst the LDF in 123 of the 140 assembly segments.
If there were a Nobel Prize for arrogance I would have suggested the CM for it, said Mr Ramachandran referring to the ‘rough and tough treatment’ of media and ordinary public.
