Hyderabad: Despite the orders from the administration, Narayana Olympiad School reopened before the end of summer holidays on Saturday. However, officials of the education department forced the school administration to close the school in the morning itself.
The department was alerted after a parent approached Balala Hakkula Sangham on receiving a message from the school that it would reopen on Saturday.
Soon, a group of child rights activists approached the education department with a complaint, following which the officials visited the school and asked the management to declare holidays till June 12. They also served a notice on the management, said Mr Achuta Rao from Balala Hakkula Sangham.
