Karnataka: 15 IPS officers in shock transfer
Bengaluru: The state government has transferred 15 IPS officers, including Mangaluru Police Commissioner, on Thursday. IGP and Police Commissioner of Mangaluru, M. Chandra Sekhar, has been posted as IGP, Criminal Investigation Department and Economic Offences, Bengaluru, and he will be replaced by DIG N. Sateesh Kumar. DIG of KSRP H. S. Revanna is posted at DIG Headquarterzs. Vijayapura SP S.N. Siddaramappa has been transferred to the Internal Security Division (ISD) and is replaced by Chamarajanagar SP Kuldeep Kumar R. Jain.
Jain has been replaced by Rohini Katoch Sepat, who was Director, Forensic Science Laboratory, Bengaluru. Other transfers: Dr K. Thiyagarajan - Commandant, First Battalion, KSRP; Dr Chetan Singh Rathor - SP, Tumkuru district; Dr Divya V. Gopinath - SP, Raichur district; Isha Pant - Director, Forensic Science Laboratory, Bengaluru; Nikham Prakash Amrith - Principal, Police Training School, Nagenahalli, Kalaburagi; G. Radhika - SP, Bidar district; Dr. Anoop A Shetty - SP, Koppla district; Sangeetha G - SP, Dharwad district and Renuka K. Sukumar - DCP, Law & Order, Hubballi-Dharwad city.
