Vizag has become a driving force of the economic development in Andhra Pradesh.
Mr. Naidu informed that Visakhapatnam with a PCI of Rs 1,40,648 stood tall among all the districts in AP.
Visakhapatnam: After bifurcation of the state, Vizag has become a driving force of the economic development in Andhra Pradesh. On Wednesday, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu released the development reports of various mandals in AP. Mr. Naidu informed that Visakhapatnam with a PCI of Rs 1,40,648 stood tall among all the districts in AP, while the average PCI of the state remained at Rs 1,07,532.
While about 8 districts of the state achieved double digit growth, Vizag secured second place in the state. When it comes to mandals, both Gajuwaka and Atchutapuram attained top position in PCI. Mr. Chandrababu Naidu opined that the industrial development and services sector in the city have made Vizag bag the top place in the state.
