Thiruvananthapuram: Palode police filed a case against a youth for forwarding nude photographs of a girl to her would be husband. Police filed the case against Palode Karimankode native Shan, 25, under POCSO IT Act.
Shan got acquainted with the girl who was a minor on Facebook in 2014 and promised to marry her. He also shot photographs of their intimate moments.
However, she got irritated with his behaviour, and started distancing herself from him. Recently, her marriage was fixed with a youth employed in the Gulf. When Shan came to know about this, he sent those pictures to the prospective groom. Following this, the youth withdrew from marriage. Later, the girl lodged a complaint with the police against Shan.
The police has started searching for Shan.
