Hyderabad: The family of a nonagenarian staged a protest following his death at the Virinchi Hospitals on Monday.
Hospital sources said Sangeetha Rao, 90, had died due to complications following vascular surgery on Sunday night. The patient had come with severe gangrene in the left little toe and foul smelling discharge on March 14.
She was operated upon but due his diabetic and hypertensive condition he developed complications, Virinchi Hospital chief operating officer Dr Noor Ahmed said.
The relatives had been counselled from time to time about his deteriorating condition.
