Bengaluru: Temperatures are likely to soar even higher as the Met Department predicts a minimum rise of two two three degrees. The maximum temperature in Bengaluru is currently around 35 degree Celsius. This is likely to touch around 37 degrees, say officials from Bengaluru's IMD.
The predictions do promise rain to the southern, interior parts of the state but there is no indication of respite for Bengaluru for now, he explained.
"Are we really living in the Garden City? Temperatures have soared so high it feels like we're living on a hot pan," says Gowri, a college student. She says the heat wave makes things even more difficult now, during exam season. "The nights are pleasant but the days are tough," she said.
