Question paper leakage: Kerala Students Union protest today
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Students Union (KSU) has decided to take up the question paper leakage and scholarship controversy. The student organisation will hold a protest march to the secretariat on Monday. KSU state president K.M. Abhijith told reporters at Indira Bhavan that the education department had scant regard for the higher secondary directorate and its functioning. Mr Abhijith said "It is unfortunate that the government is still dilly dallying on whether there has been a question paper leakage or not".
It should be recalled that so far neither the LDF government nor the education department has owned responsibility of the Physics question paper leakage. He lamented that the future of several lakh higher secondary students was at stake because many of them are expected to prepare for various professional college entrance examinations. "Apart from the Physics question paper leakage, students studying Islamic History were not provided with maps. It is deplorable that the government is apathetic to higher secondary students and higher secondary directorate officials", said Mr Abhijith.
