Credibility of digital media at stake: Oommen Chandy

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy says it is the era of digital media. However, he lamented that the credibility of majority of the digital media platforms are at stake. He was speaking after launching 'Digital Malayali', an online media portal which was the brain child of late V.M. Sathish, an expatriate journalist based in Dubai who died there in early February this year.

While launching the website at Kottayam Press Club on Sunday, Mr Chandy urged that new media should bring back the credibility which has been lacking. Mons Joseph, MLA, performed the switch-on and CPM leader V. N. Vasavan released the logo of the website. 'Digital Malayali' will be hitting the online platform officially by early April.
