Contract to L&T has been awarded for electrification in two railway sections.
Hyderabad: Railway minister Suresh Prabhu flagged off infrastructre projects of the South Central Railway from Hitec City station through a remote link. He said Train 11019/11020 Mumbai-Bhubaneshwar- Mumbai Konark Express and Train 17014/17013 Hyderabad- Pune Express would halt at Lingampalli.
He commissioned the Nizamabad-Morthad line and flagged off DEMU services between Nizamabad and Karimnagar.
He said 10 stations in SCR zone would be enabled with DigiPay options for cashless transactions. He said the Centre had allotted Rs 1,729 crore as the budgetary outlay for the TS government for rail projects.
