Hyderabad: While a controversy has been raging over Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi's refusal to chant the slogan 'Bharat Mata ki Jai', flexis on which the slogan 'Hindustan Ki Jai' is written along with pictures of the MP and other MIM leaders came up at the Banjara Hills Road No. 1 junction on Friday. Sources said that the flexis were put up by MIM activists.
However, the people behind the flexi could not be identified. The flexis also raised doubts over any possible internal rift between groups within the party.
Recently, the MP had landed himself in a controversy when he said he would not chant ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and said that the Constitution does not force him to do so.
