Complaints rare among Covid patients about oxygen-related health problems

No death related to Covid has been reported though Covid infections are on the rise in the last 15 days in the erstwhile Adilabad district

Adilabad: Covid patients are generally not complaining about breathing or oxygen-related health complications this time, unlike the scenario during the second Covid wave. With minor symptoms, most of the Covid-hit these days avoid going to hospitals for treatment.

No death related to Covid has been reported though Covid infections are on the rise in the last 15 days in the erstwhile Adilabad district. No covid patient developed cardiac arrest in this phase, unlike last time.

It is also observed that patients who recovered from the Covid-hit are getting back to normal in a week’s time.

During the second wave, last year, most Covid patients complained of low oxygen levels and were unable to breathe properly. Lots of patients had been put on artificial oxygen supply gadgets last year.

Doctors said patients who developed anti-bodies after taking Covid vaccination could face less of health complications.

The last phase had seen a shortage of ventilators and oxygen concentrators to treat Covid patients in critical condition as their number was high.

An elderly person of Utnoor who tested Covid positive and was undergoing treatment at his home said he just developed high fever, body pain and cold. The recovery rate among the present lot of Covid patients was also almost cent per cent in this region this time.
