Tirupati: Officials told to increase vigil at laddu counters

Tirupati: Reacting over malpractices that were reported at srivari laddu distribution counters in Tirumala a while ago, TTD trust board chairman P. Sudhakar Yadav said that TTD will not spare anyone found guilty and will take necessary measures for enhancing transparency.

On Friday, the chairman inspected the Laddu token issuing counters at Sarva Darshanam Complex in Tirumala.

“In a bid to provide best possible services to pilgrims and enhancing the transparency, we have given clear instructions to the supervisors in these counters to increase the vigil and to make sure that such incidents will not be repeated in future,” he added.
