Telangana high court postpones plea over SI test paper
Hyderabad: The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board filed an appeal against the order of a single judge of the TS High Court to delete six questions in the preliminary written examination conducted for recruitment of sub-inspctors before a division bench.
The board stated that the judiciary and administrative bodies cannot interfere in the issues of curriculum and on the decisions of subject expert committees who prepared the examination papers and answers.
When the appeal came before the division bench led by the Chief Justice on Friday, it said that it would hear the matter on January 28.
In the last week of December 2018, a single judge had directed the board to publish a revised merit list of qualified candidates after deleting six questions in the preliminary test. He said the six questions and answers were ambiguous or wrong.
